Joseph Malfeo is President of Hunter Street Investment Advisors. He began his financial management career in 1998 as an investment advisor representative for Prudential Financial Planning Services. There he was awarded with membership to The Masters Conference for his work in account production and client services, one of the company's highest honors. In 2002, Mr. Malfeo joined Diversified Financial Concepts where he specialized in financial planning programs for high net worth individuals and small businesses. He then qualified for membership at The Chicago Board of Trade/Chicago Mercantile Exchange (CBOT)(CME) and received his floor trader & floor broker designations. As a floor specialist on a major international securites exchange, Mr. Malfeo began executing trades on behalf of his advisory clients, large institutions and high net worth individuals. Contracts included equity index, agricultural futures, options, and relative value spread trading. In 2007 he founded Command Capital Management (CCM), to better serve a growing list of private advisory clients and small businesses. CCM's corporate named changed to Hunter Street Investment Advisors in 2019.
Mr. Malfeo graduated cum laude from DePaul University, earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Finance. He is a graduate of Duke University's Executive Certificate in Financial Planning Program and The American College of Financial Services, Chartered Financial Consultant Certification Program. Mr. Malfeo currently holds or has held the following FINRA qualifications: Series 3, Series 6, Series 30, Series 31, Series 63 and Series 65. He is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNERTM, Chartered Financial ConsultantR and holds insurance licenses for life, health, property, and casualty.
